
Túria Natural Park and Fluvial Park

Natural space with an extension of 4,692 hectares and a length of 35 km. The Túria River is the backbone of the park and gives it its name. Born in the Muela de San Juan, in the Iberian system. When he passes through Camp de Túria forms a great valley. It crosses the region diagonally from NW a se. The river and its banks are of great ecological and landscape interest, with areas of special protection. Wide plant biodiversity, grouping the different species depending on the environment in which they are: riverside vegetation, pine forests and scrubland, traditional irrigation crops (citrus and horticultural) and dry land (almond trees, carob and olive trees). As for the fauna inhabit fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals.
Within the Túria Natural Park, the River Park is a 24 km length corridor that runs parallel to the river between the municipalities of Vilamarxant and Quart de Poblet. Executed by the Júcar Hydrographic Confederation. The practice of hiking, cycling and riding is possible. With viewpoints, bird observatories, biocircuits and interpretation centers.
